I immediately 5'ed it.

As soon as I heard the first part and the depth, I knew I did nae have to worry about down voting this or giving any negative feedback! lol!! WOOHOO!!

I'm using Cubase Pro 8, vsti wise it's spitfire/la strings/projectsam mostly, plugin wise I mostly used Waves.

iono if you are bending the strings when you are playing chords, or you are just out of tune, but that is a rookie mistake.

Sounds like your "A" string is out.

ALWAYS ALWAYS TUNE BEFORE A PERFORMANCE!

I like that you have some dynamics, and the use of your phrasing is so unique.

Sometimes I get caught up in the production process, I don't concentrate on Pre-production most of the times.

Ya know like... okay, I hear a song in my head literally, like a radio station, and I work to get it written down, or played on the piano, or guitar... but the thing is, I don't do it very rarely.

Despite my best effort I always go back into the routine of using my DAW and hooking my guitar up to it and writing something new and track it. And once I do that, it is like I get into this physical routine and what I create is predictable, and it does not punch as much as when I play live because I am thinking of how to use my DAW to track my performance rather than the performance itself.

In other words, I think we could all improve by using pre-production more efficiently.

When I play live, I am free, and I don't have the restrictions of having to work the production station while I am creating, and I think that makes a big difference ya know?

Well thank you for your two pennies! Not many people actually share them, which raises the value of those who do.. so more like two hundred pennies 😁
I agree though. I've had writers block, and so this was just kinda spur of the moment for me.
I somehow understood what you were trying to say, dunno how I did, but I did. And yes I agree. Producing music on a DAW is so much harder than on an instrument where you can play live, and can hear a song and translate it to notes.i find myself picking up my guitar instead of going to my daw, simply because it's so much easier to translate and play it out.

So... yeah, this seems to be a pattern for me.

Your samples are great, your ideas are great too! I just end up feeling like I am missing some dynamic.

Whenever I do a verse again in a song, I always try to add another element. A piano, ... umm.. a tubular bell... something to keep the song moving.

Maybe try something like that, but with EDM samples?

The song STILL kix heiney without that stuffs though!!

It makes me so happy! ^_^ lol

Very dynamic, very interesting samples.

Great job. At 1:28 I would change up the "verse" if you will. Add something... take something away.. make a drop... something like that.

But overall the samples and mix are great!
